Job Description

Perform a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation and related systems. Repair customer’s products such as heat pumps, ventilation systems, gas furnaces, steam and water boilers, burners, rooftop package units, VRV systems, motors, while providing top-notch customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate problems and perform repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

  • Maintain high quality of service at all times

  • Meet key productivity metrics and goals as set by the company

  • Think outside the box on ways to enhance service and customer experience

  • Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines

  • Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep an organized and clean truck/workspace

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience in HVAC service and repair

  • Current HVAC Journeyman License or willingness to pursue

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Able to read technical schematics

  • Ability to perform repairs on boiler systems

  • Experience maintaining rooftop units preferred

  • Highly organized, Excellent communication skills

  • Able to work well as a team

  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds

  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills

  • Willing to be flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Comfortable making recommendations about needed repairs and replacement services

  • Ability to present the price and collect while on site

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

  • Clean driving record, No DUI/DWI in past 5 years

  • Must pass pre-employment background check
